Silent City
The city of Bath at the moment it empties. As golden hour settles and tourists disappear, familiar beauty gives way to an unnatural stillness.
Each photograph is a composite, constructed from multiple exposures taken over time and stitched together to remove people, vehicles, lights, and other signs of life. Individually the images appear calm; seen together, their repeated emptiness becomes unsettling. What remains is a recognisable and picturesque Bath, rendered strangely ominous by its total absence of human presence.
